Wolle nach Material
Alpaka Wolle wärmt bei geringem Gewicht, Baby Alpaka Wolle ist die feinere Qualität davon. Mohair Wolle bringt den typischen Flaum für Tücher und leichte Pullover. Merinowolle ist fein genug, um sie direkt auf der Haut zu tragen, Schurwolle ist elastisch und hält die Form.
Dick oder fein – die Lauflänge verrät es
Je weniger Meter auf 100 g, desto dicker das Garn. Mit 120 bis 180 m strickst du schnell und warm – diese Garne findest du unter Dicke Wolle. Ab etwa 400 m wird es fein, bei 800 bis 1000 m sehr fein: ideal für Tücher und leichte Oberteile. Farben und Effekte
Farbverlaufsgarn wechselt die Farbe beim Stricken von selbst. Bunte Wolle vereint mehrere Farben in einem Faden, melierte Wolle wirkt ruhig und trotzdem lebendig, Bouclé Wolle bringt mit kleinen Schlaufen Struktur ins Maschenbild.
