There's something calming about chunky yarn. It lies warm on your lap while you knit, and at the end of the evening, you can see exactly how far you've come. 120 m per 100 g – none of our yarns is thicker. On 7–8 mm needles, your blanket or scarf grows as much in a few hours as it otherwise would in weeks.

Baby alpaca adds warmth, and wool holds the shape. Your stitches stay uniform, even when you just keep knitting plain knit stitches – not every chunky yarn can do that.

How many balls do I need for my project?
The "Yarn requirements" table gives estimates for a hat, a scarf, a sweater, and a cardigan. The exact amount depends on the pattern, the size, and your gauge.

Does every ball weigh exactly 100 g?
100 g is the nominal weight. Due to the manufacturing process, the weight of a single ball can vary by about ±2 g, and the yardage varies accordingly. So if your estimate is tight, it's safer to plan for an extra ball.

Will the color look exactly like the photo?
We photograph our yarns in daylight and show the colors as accurately as we can. But every screen displays colors a little differently, so the actual shade may vary slightly.

How much is shipping, and how long does it take?
Shipping within Germany is free – with no minimum order. Delivery takes 2–4 business days.

Can I return the yarn?
In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, we offer a voluntary return policy : you can send back unused balls with an intact ball band within 30 days of receiving them. You pay the cost of return shipping.

Is this yarn suitable for beginners?
Yes, especially well. The yarn is chunky, so you can see your progress quickly, and 7–8 mm needles are comfortable to hold.
