All amounts are approximate. How much yarn you actually need depends on the pattern, size, gauge, and your knitting style.

A mohair shawl weighs almost nothing and still keeps you warm – that's why it so often ends up around someone's shoulders in the evening. This yarn is made for exactly that: 1,000 m per 100 g, more yardage than any other yarn in our shop. One ball goes further than you'd expect from 100 g.

The high mohair content creates the fine halo that settles softly over the stitches. Polyamide keeps the yarn stable, so your knitting stays even on thin needles, too. If you work on a knitting machine, this yarn handles well there as well.

How many balls do I need for my project?
The "Yarn requirements" table gives estimates for a hat, scarf, sweater, and cardigan. The exact amount depends on the pattern, size, and your gauge.

Does each ball weigh exactly 100 g?
100 g is the nominal weight. Due to the manufacturing process, an individual ball may vary by about ±2 g, and the yardage varies accordingly. So if your estimate is tight, it's better to plan for an extra ball.

Will the color look exactly like the photo?
We photograph our yarns in daylight and reproduce the colors as accurately as we can. However, every screen displays colors differently, so the actual shade may look slightly different.

How much does shipping cost, and how long does it take?
Shipping within Germany is free – with no minimum order. Delivery takes 2–4 business days.

Can I return the yarn?
In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, we offer a voluntary return policy : you can send back unused balls with intact ball bands within 30 days of receipt. You pay for return shipping.

Is this yarn suitable for beginners?
This yarn is fine. If you are knitting for the first time, a thicker yarn is easier to handle – but with a little practice, you can manage it well, and you will get a particularly fine stitch definition.
