Half of this yarn is wool, and you can feel it as you knit: it has body, and warmth to match. 180 m per 100 g, needle size 4–5 mm.

The color is solid and calm, so cable and textured patterns really stand out. Alpaca makes the yarn softer, and acrylic makes it lighter. It's also a good choice for children's clothes and blankets.

How many balls do I need for my project?
The "Yarn requirements" table gives estimates for a hat, a scarf, a sweater, and a cardigan. The exact amount depends on the pattern, the size, and your gauge.

Does every ball weigh exactly 100 g?
100 g is the nominal weight. Due to the manufacturing process, the weight of a single ball can vary by about ±2 g, and the yardage varies accordingly. So if your estimate is tight, it's safer to plan for an extra ball.

Will the color look exactly like the photo?
We photograph our yarns in daylight and show the colors as accurately as we can. But every screen displays colors a little differently, so the actual shade may vary slightly.

How much is shipping, and how long does it take?
Shipping within Germany is free – with no minimum order. Delivery takes 2–4 business days.

Can I return the yarn?
In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, we offer a voluntary return policy : you can send back unused balls with an intact ball band within 30 days of receiving them. You pay the cost of return shipping.

Is this yarn suitable for beginners?
Yes. It is a medium (Aran) yarn and easy to work with on 4–5 mm needles. Small irregularities in your stitches will hardly show.
